Kirsten: Yoshi, just to get through eight innings today, what was working well for you on the mound?
Hiro: 今日8回投げたわけですが、何が一番8回まで行けた事の要因は何処なんでしょうか?

Yoshinobu: ストライク先行のピッチングで相手もすごく積極的にを振って来てうまく打ち取れたのかなのが一番良かったかなと思います。
[Translation]: First pitch strikes pitching and the opponent swung aggressively I was able to get outs was the best I think.
Hiro: I think at because at they line up everybody's ? overall being aggressive but I see that I was ahead in the count.
Kirsten: When you think about just being able to navigate through them, what was working for you Tuesday? What was working for him to stay ahead of the count?
Hiro: ストライク先行できた要因は今日は何だったでしょうか?

Yoshinobu: 先頭にはホームランを打たれたんですけどそこからもしっかり落ち着いて、いいフォームで投球できたかなと思います。
[Translation]: I gave up a leadoff homerun, but after that I relaxed and locked in and threw well.
Hiro: In the first inning, I gave up a home run with a first pitch. But after that I stayed calm and then I was being able to execute my pitch with that good mechanics.
Bill Reporter: How much of an achievement does it feel like to get through eight innings for the first time in the major leagues here?
Hiro: 山本さんにとって8回まで投げ切ることはどう言う意味なんでしょうか?
[Translation]: Mr. Yamamoto, what does it mean to you to throw 8 complete innings?
Yoshinobu: そうですね。いいピッチングができたことがよかったです。
[Translation]: Yes. I am happy I pitched well.
Hiro: I'm not sure what exactly what I actually achieved today. At the end of the day that was great for me I got the good result.
Jack Reporter: How much does that matter to you to be able to get through eight innings in a big league game?
Hiro: メジャーで8回までいけるということはどう言う感じなんでしょうか?
[Translation]: What does it mean to you to pitch 8 innings in a major league game?
Jack Reporter: Yeah, to complete eight innings. How much does that mean to you?
Hiro: どういった意味?
[Translation]: What is the meaning?
Yoshinobu: そうですね。ま、少ない球数で長く投げれれたのは一番理想的だっと思っているので。ま、チームにいい影響が与えられるようにま、勝利以上の影響が出るなら嬉しいです。
[Translation]: Yes, keeping a low pitch count and providing length is the most ideal I think. Do be a good influence on the team and give them an influence greater than a win would make me happy.
Hiro: The most important thing is to lead the team to the win um victory, but that ideally, because stay on the low pitch count and that could to the winning that would be something meaningful for myself.
Reporter: In the major leagues, it is becoming rarer and rarer to pitch that far in the games so for him, is it more, does it feel like he's just doing this job?

HIro: ゲームに入っていくまでの準備の中でいろんな環境があったんだと思いますけど、準備の中でコーチとかいろんな打ち合わせとかキャッチャーとかすると思うですけれども、そう言うところは慣れた感じですかねそうですね?
[Translation]: Getting into the game, the preparation inside you have in a lot of environments, in the preparation with the coaches many meetings with the catchers, have you gotten used to that?
Yoshinobu: そうですね。そこははい慣れれました。
[Translation]: Yes, I am used to it.
Hiro: Yes.
Reporter: Was that part of big adjustment coming over here? Just with new people, learning that part of it?
Hiro: それはメジャーに来てからの大きいな調整何でしょうか?
[Translation]: What is the biggest adjustment you have had since coming to the Majors?
Yoshinobu: ま、日本も試合もたてますしミーテイングもしますし。はい。はい。
[Translation]: Um, In Japan we game plan before games and have meetings. Yes. Yes.
HIro: It is the same as Japan.
Reporter: At this point, does he expect...does he expect teams at this point to be swinging away at him?
Hiro: はい、相手は、今日積極的みたいにアグレシッブな打線もこれからも予想をした投球をするんでしょう?
