Reporter: What's working for you so far at the plate right now?

Shohei: バッテイング自体は状態はいいですし試合として運ぶ自体が全体素晴らしいデイフェンスなのでいいリズム感で打席にはれるかなと思います。

[Translation]: The batting is going well, the game is progressing well with our good defense and we are able to carry that rhythm into our at bats.

Will: Yeah, I just feel like we're playing a really overall playing really well so that's really helping me have quality at-bats and just feeling good overall.

Fabian Reporter: You’ve always been a guy who’s power has gone to the opposite field. When you have a couple homers to the opposite field like today, is that a sign your swing is in a really good place?

Will: ホームラン逆方向にうつ？

Shohei: そうですね。いい動きで当てて臨むしあそこでホームランが出るっていう自信がある他の球腫のアプローチはいいスイングだなと思います。

[Translation]: Yes, to hit the ball with good movement is my intent for the homeruns so knowing that I can respond to other pitch types gives me confidence and I think the swing is very good right now.

Will: Yes, when I feel confident that I could hit in that direction, then I know that I can cover other pitches really well.

Reporter: For those of us who haven’t hit a ball 460 feet, what does it feel like to get a hold of one that well?

Will: who cares

Shohei: 長打は持ち味だと思っているのでそこは極力試合の中で表現できたらいいのかなと思いますし。チームのバランスとしてはあそこでしっかり打てるのは大事じゃ無いかな.

[Translation]: Slug is the flavor of my game I think and expressing that to the best of my ability in the game is important. Just to provide balance for the team it is important for me to firmly hit in those situations for the team.

Will: Slug is part of my game, so being able to express that in a game situation like that. And just in a lineup where in that situation where being with slug is important as well.

Bill Reporter: Shohei, could you feel the big game playoff atmosphere this weekend?.

Shohei: そうですね、素晴らしいチームですし。皆んなきあい入いていたんじゃ無いかなと思うので。ま 素晴らしい打線を相手に投手陣が。。。

[Translation]: Yes, they are a great team. I think everybody was really motivated for the game and out pitching did well to hold down a good lineup.

Will: Yeah, very much so. Playing against a really good team. With us being able to pitch well against a really good offensive team was really important for us.
